Is there a manual for the basic use of Open Office 4.1.1? We havehad Open Office for a few years, and we thought we got it, but, sinceour new computer and an updated OpenOffice, it's been making us nuts. It's like it's got a mind of its own. So, we wondered if there were inexistence a basic reference to explain how to use the program properly? We saw a Dummies book, but it's for a much older version.Colleen-To unsubscribe, e-mail:For additional commands, e-mail.

For instance, I want to use a style to change the font color of a hyperlink. I write book-length texts using styles and it emerges in full book layout, needing only final proofing and very minor tweaking before going to print.Since switching to Star/OpenOffice in 2007 I have prepared many booklength texts directly in OO, without need to use my previous setup of MS Word (or NotePad) and PageMaker (later InDesign).
